The Island was a pretty cool movie. It's a very good sci fi movie, even if the idea is getting old. The story goes as this: A business was created to clone people and use the clone's bodies as the insurance policy for the originals. The business discovered that the clones will die unless they have interaction, actually living like real people. So they illegally keep these clones alive in a created "world" where the clones think that the world was contaminated by something or other and they can't leave. The Island is their uncontaminated paradise where they are selected to go by winning the "lottery". This Island is really the clones being sent up to have their organs removed and die. Pretty gruesome I know. The rest of the story is one of the clones becomes curious and figures this all out, and escaped the "world" with a girl clone. You'll have to see the rest.

I dunno, I don't think it could top the original!
Seriously though, I think I might actually see this (albeit I'm going to wait for Netflix). At first I was adamantly not going to because it's a remake of an incredibly bad movie, and it's directed by Michael Bay... but I've heard that the first half of the movie is really good at least. And two Ewan McGregors at once? Hell yes.
